  1. My son has had his ingrown toenail for just over 2 weeks now. I came upon your video a few days ago and started using the taping technique. Its hard to tell I’d it’s working yet, but I think it is looking better. But tonight after his shower and we were getting ready to tape it again I noticed it had an odor, we taped and bandaged it anyways and put tea tree oil. Should I be concerned?

    • It may be infected. Are you using antibiotic cream on it? Is it weeping any fluid. He may need a Doc to look at it.

  2. To Mr Steve P,
Hi, I was operated 3 times by two doctors to remove my thump nail ingrowth but to no avail. Then I came across yr tapes job suggestion when I was searching the web extensively. I tried n it worked for me but with the following amendments. Yr suggested tape couldn’t stick, it peels off. So I tried a medicated wound cover that is easily available here in Cambodia n worked well. Because it has a stronger glue to stick with the skin. By the way, I tried bymyself this method long before I watched yr YouTube video but gave up within a day before seeing any result. With yr suggestion however I let it stay for 3 or 4 days and it worked. So I suggest you share the patent with me. Just kidding.

    • Thanks for the feedback. I developed this tape job in the 70s on professional soccer players because they wore shoes 2 sizes too small. Hope all is well with you.
